- 5.58K → 199K: Impressions, same two periodsdone
- 13.9 → 7.5: Average positiondone
The constraint
A brand-new domain competing with large, established puzzle and dictionary sites for the same searches.
What we did
- Audited the site against a competitor research document and closed every gap in one release: a named author with Person schema, an Open Graph image, sitemap last-modified dates, analytics and new long-tail pages.
- Audited internal links so weaker pages are linked from the pages that already earn the most traffic.
- Read Search Console weekly and acted on it, for example keeping two articles that both rank for one topic instead of merging them, because together they earn more clicks.
| Period | Dates | Clicks | Impressions | Average position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First full month | 1 to 28 Aug 2026 | 30 | 5,580 | 13.9 |
| Latest month | 1 to 28 Oct 2026 | 4,950 | 199K | 7.5 |
