What the £1,500 retainer includes
Our Foundation package, from £1,500 a month, is built for a B2B company with one product or service line that needs the basics fixed and a first set of pages built for buyers. It includes five things every month:
- A technical audit and fix list in month one, then the fixes tracked to done
- A keyword and intent map for up to 30 terms, each assigned to a buying stage and a page
- Two optimised or new pages a month, written with your subject expert
- Conversion tracking from search to enquiry, set up in GA4
- A monthly report and a 30-minute review call
It is monthly rolling, with 30 days' notice and no setup fee. The full scope is on our B2B SEO services page.
The first 90 days, week by week
- 1
Weeks 1 to 2: access and baseline
Access to Search Console, GA4 and your CMS; a short call with sales about buyers and objections; the current numbers recorded so later results can be measured.
- 2
Weeks 3 to 4: audit and plan
The technical audit, the 30-term keyword and intent map and a 90-day plan. You approve the plan before any page is written.
- 3
Month 2: first fixes and pages
Technical tickets go to your developers. The two pages closest to a buying decision, usually a service page and a comparison or pricing page, are rewritten and published.
- 4
Month 3: two more pages and the first full report
Two more pages, the fixes checked, and a report showing leads from organic search, the pages behind them and what changes next.
Expect movement on rewritten pages that already had some authority first. New pages and leads take longer: our guide to how long B2B SEO takes has the timelines by starting point.
Want this applied to your own site?
The free audit is a 20-minute review that ends with three specific opportunities.
What is not included
- Digital PR and link building. Included from Growth. On Foundation, links come from partners and directories you already qualify for.
- CRM-matched pipeline reporting. Foundation tracks leads to the enquiry; matching them to opportunities and revenue in the CRM starts at Growth.
- AI-search visibility checks. Monthly from Growth.
- Development time. We write the tickets; your developers or web agency ship them.
- Paid media, translation and third-party costs. Not on any package.
Being clear about this up front avoids the most common disappointment with a low-cost retainer: expecting links and pipeline reporting that the budget was never going to cover.

Foundation is the right start when the site needs fixing more than it needs volume. Growth is where most B2B and SaaS teams end up once tracking shows what content is worth. Every line of every package is on our pricing page.
Is £1,500 a month enough?
For a focused B2B company with one product line, a site that needs the basics fixed and a market where competitors are not spending heavily on content, yes: two strong pages a month on the right terms add up quickly. For a multi-product site, a crowded category or a target of steady demos within six months, it usually is not, and we would rather say so in the audit than after a quarter.
If you are comparing agencies, ask each one the same question: what exactly happens in the first 90 days for this price? Our B2B SEO agency page lists the other questions worth asking, and our guide to how much B2B SEO costs compares the prices agencies publish.
